Sourav Ganguly finally found some batting form top-scoring with 71 for Northamptonshire, although his side went down by two wickets against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge in a C&G Trophy limited-overs match. Ganguly opened the battting and made amends for his double-failure against Worcestershire, hitting seven fours and a six in his knock, which came off 106 balls. Unfortunately he was caught by Stephen Fleming off Gareth Clough with the score at 156 for 4 and failing to reach a century Ganguly's next match will be a Twenty20 encounter against Warwickshire at Northampton on June 27.
