The BCCI has decided against the decision to ask Sourav Ganguly as to why he did not play in the Ranji trophy matches for West Bengal.
Upon asking the BCCI about their views for this the following was told to the media.
"We are not going to write to anyone seeking explanation. What can we do if he doesn't play," said BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah.
Ganguly trained hard at the Eden Gardens and also had net sessions at the PGITC.
